Maserati Tribute 2021

For Maserati Trident Day, Studio Aira was honored to create a teaser video that celebrates the brand’s century-long legacy. We received from the brand hundreds of photos showcasing Maserati’s iconic cars, spanning from its early models to modern ones.

No fancy automation tricks here. We lined up each photo by hand, channeling the patience of waiting for dial-up internet in the year 2000. We carefully sorted through the archive, categorizing images by elements like tire rims, hoods, sides, and backs, and precisely aligned them to highlight the iconic Maserati logo at the center. Each frame was then animated and synced to an original score composed specifically for this project. The result is a satisfying compilation that is a visual tribute to Maserati’s iconic trident logo.
